Pre degree

Pre degree program or pre-degree course is an intermediate course of one to two years of duration run by most universities in Nigeria. A student seeking entry into any Nigerian university but was unable to make the minimum UTME / Post UTME score for admission into the university may choose to go for the pre-degree program.

Though not a compulsory program, some universities tend to favour candidates who participated in the pre-degree courses organized by the institution while admitting students into the main undergraduate degree program.
