Paul University Best Graduating Students.
No fewer than 73 students received their Bachelors degree certificates at the second Convocation ceremony of Paul University, Awka in Anambra State, held recently.
Three of the graduating students came out with First Class honours, while 22 students graduated with Second Class Upper Division, 37 with Second Class Lower Division, and eleven with third class degree.
In his speech, the proprietor of the university, His Grace, Most Rev. Christian Efobi who doubles as the Archbishop Province of the Niger, and Bishop of Aguata Diocese in Anambra State, enjoined the graduating students to remember that they are the mirror reflecting the image of the university to the world.
The best graduating student, Miss Glory Chiamaka Osuachalla, on behalf of his colleagues, thanked the university management for devoting their resources to equip them in all facets of their academic endeavour.
Present at the event are the former Vice-President of Nigeria, Dr Alex Ekwueme; Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, represented by Mr. Ray Offor; Bishop of Awka Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Alex Ibezim; Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor (represented); Anglican Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma and bishops from many dioceses East of the Niger.
