NYSC Error List: RECORDS NOT IN JAMB ADMISSION LIST

There has been a lot of confusion associated with the recently published 2013 NYSC Mobilization list as majority of the 2013 Prospective Batch ‘A’ corp members fell under the NYSC Error List, i.e. the list sent by the National Youth Service Corps to schools with the title “ERROR REPORT FOR 2013 BATCH A MOBILIZATION EXERCISE (RECORDS NOT IN JAMB ADMISSION LIST)”.

The question now is, how could someone with no Jamb record actually go through a university and graduate? Is this a typical evidence of how unorganized our educational system is? Where proper records can’t be kept? Who is to be blamed in this situation?

At the moment, thousands of Nigerian fresh graduates are shuttling across the country, through our very wonderful road network, trying to find a solution to a problem that wouldn’t have been should a few people at their respective offices had done the job they are paid for diligently.

Enough of the rant, what is the way forward?
The solution to this problem at the moment can only be reached at the prospective corp members’ individual universities/schools as the instructions on the NYSC error list sent to schools suggests.

How does one go about resolving the issue at their school?
CampusportalNigeria gathered that some institutions requested their prospective corp members to come to the school on or before Monday, 11th February 2013 with either Jamb Admission letter, JAMB result or the school’s admission letter/slip.
