About 511 students were admitted into the College of Health Technology, Akure, Ondo state during the 21st matriculation ceremony of the school which took place on Wednesday, 6th May, 2015.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Ondo State Commissioner for Heath, Dr. Dayo Adeyanju, warned the new students against employing violence as a tool to resolve problems with the school authority.
Adeyanju advised them not waste the opportunity of a life time offered them by the college.
Heurged the students to be of good behaviour and make hard work their watchword during their studentship and also to always uphold the good image of the school by shunning acts of indiscipline and insubordination.
According to him, the school was established to provide middle -level manpower to drive the laudable Primary Health Care(PHC) programme of the government.
