The Lagos State University, LASU Senate will hold a special session in honour of a former Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Late Prof. Ajibade Abayomi Rokosu, on Wednesday, 9th March, 2016, at the University Senate Chamber by 11:00am.
The late Prof. Rokosu, aged 75 years had also served meritoriously as Dean, Postgraduate School and Deputy Vice Chancellor respectively, while at the University.
In the meantime, the University Management had expressed her condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed God to grant the departed soul, eternal rest.
The funeral arrangements as announced by the family are as follow: Wake-keep on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Yoruba Tennis Club, Onikan, Lagos by 5:00pm.
Then on Friday, March 11, 2016, there will be a Funeral mass at Holy Cross Cathedral by 10:00am followed by Internment at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos.
May the soul of Professor Ajibade Rokosu rest in perfect peace.
