The Governing Council of Kogi State University, Anyingba, has approved the appointment of a new Vice Chancellor for the institution.
The new Vice Chancellor is Professor Mohammed Abdulkadir.
According to a statement from the Registrar of the university, Yakubu Abubakar, the new VC takes over from Prof. Hassan Isah, whose tenure expired on October 12.
Until his appointment, Prof. Abdulkadir was a professor of economic history from Bayero University Kano.
