• The 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), organized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) commenced yesterday (Tuesday) in about 400 Computer Based Centres (CBT) nationwide.

Though the examination conduct was relatively successful, there were several blips in some centres because of the failure of internet servers and power outages.

It was reported that the bio-data capturing machine that capture candidates’ thumb-prints during accreditation failed to work at some centres.

Some candidates billed to write the examination were not able to take part because of the technical failures. Few of them were notified to come back and write the exam on another date while others were simply told to go home.

It will be recalled that JAMB fully implemented the CBT mode of examination this year for all candidates. The UTME is scheduled to run for eleven days.

i wasn’t able to finish my maths questions because of their server error so i got low score about 177. We are not happy about it especially students who wrote in Aba 1, Aba South. They should do something about that
