The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) wishes to inform candidates for the 2017 Supplementary UTME to start checking for their CBT centres and venue from today, 29th June.
According to the JAMB’s Head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who made this disclosure, candidates are to access their centres by visiting the JAMB e-Facility Portal.
He said the examination will still take place on Saturday, 1st July and assured candidates that necessary machinery has been put in place to ensure a hitch free exercise.
Benjamin disclosed that over 85,000 candidates will participate in the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination across the country.
Benjamin said the examination is for candidates who registered late and those with related issues in some Computer Based Testing (CBT) centres.
The JAMB’s spokesman added that 1,386 candidates have their results cancelled over examination malpractice; 57,646 results were also affected as a result of centres-induced malpractices while the results of 666 candidates were cancelled due to multiple examinations.
He urged candidates who may experience any hitches during the examination not to panic so as not to fall into the hands of fraudsters while assuring that the board would be available to address their complaints.
