The chairman of the staff Multipurpose Co-operative Society, Mr. Nwoka Emmanuel, who made this disclosure, said that the school would be funded on 50% counterpart basis between the university management and the cooperative Society.
The chairman disclosed that the Excos have already swung into action by constituting three committees namely, building, logistic and curriculum development.
He also disclosed that the site has been given and work has commenced.
Stressing the viability and validity of the school, Mr. Nwoka said members and the community stand to benefit a lot if the school is established, adding that it would be the first of its kind in all the newly established nine university in the country.
In consideration of the importance and viability of the project, members, after exhaustive deliberation, ratified the proposal as well as the committees to give legal backing for the commencement of work in earnest.
