The Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology Akure has extended the tenure of the School Librarian, Dr. Femi Oguntuase by one year with effect from Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
The tenure extension, according to a letter signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Dr. (Mrs.) Modupe Ajayi, is in tandem with the provisions of the Universities Act 2012.
While congratulating the Librarian on what it described as the well-deserved extension, the Council expressed the conviction that the Librarian will further consolidate on his excellent administration and professional acumen thereby further enhancing his sterling contributions to the development of the University.
