According to a statement from the Senior Medical Officer of the university, Dr. Uchenna Nwachukwu, activities lined-up for the weeklong event include HIV, Hepatitis B and C awareness talks free BP checks, free Hepatitis B and C Screening, fitness walk, Deworming for pupils of host community Otuoke, and Distribution of Insecticide treated mosquito nets to the University Community.
Nwachukwu expressed optimism that the health week will improve healthy living among staff and students of Federal University Otuoke.
