The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti has matriculated a total of 2,517 fresh students for the 2014/15 academic session of the Continuing Education Centre in Ado Ekiti.
The matriculants includes 2,360 National Diploma and 157 Higher National Diploma students.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Poly Ado Rector, Dr. Taiwo Akande, charged the students to be law abiding and of good conduct.
He urged them to take advantage of the entrepreneurship programme introduced by the school to learn some skills, as they could not rely on white collar jobs alone after graduation.
The rector promised further provision of amenities and facilities to make the stay of the new students in the school rewarding and less stressful.
