FCE OBUDU POST UTME/DE ADMISSION FOR 2015/2016
The Federal College of Education in Programme affiliation with the University of Calabar is inviting interested qualified applicants for admission into the Bachelor of Education Degree Programme for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.
Programmes leading to the award of the following Bachelor Degree are:
Bachelor of Education (B. Ed)
Adult and Continuing Education/A teaching subject
Elementary Education
Educational Technology/A teaching subject
Educational Administration and Planning/A teaching subject
Guidance and Counseling/A teaching subject
Education/Social Studies
Bachelor of Arts Education (BA.Ed)
Education/English
Education/French
Education/Religious Studies
Bachelor of Science Education (Bsc.Ed)
Agricultural Education
Business Education
Education/Mathematics
Physical and Health Education
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
POST UTME:
Candidates must be holders of O/Level WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, NECO or its equivalent with CREDIT level passes in FIVE subjects including Mathematics, English Language and the teaching subject obtained at not more than two sittings.
Teachers’ Grade II Certificate with passes at MERIT/CREDIT level in at least FIVE subjects including Mathematics, English Language and a teaching subject.
National Technical Certificate, National Business Certificate with credit passes in FIVE relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings.
Candidates must have written the 2015 UTME conducted by JAMB and scored not less than JAMB’s prescribed cut-off mark of 180 points.
The UTME subjects must be relevant to the course of choice (see current JAMB brochure).
DIRECT ENTRY:
Candidate must be holders of O/Level WASSCE, SSCE, TC II, or its equivalent with Credit/Merit passes in FIVE subjects including Mathematics, English Language and a teaching subject (provided the teaching subject is not Mathematics and English Language).
Candidates must be holders of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least MERIT passes in Education and the major subject(s)
Interested applicants must have completed the 2015/2016 JAMB Direct Entry application form.
The NCE subjects should be relevant to the course of choice (see current JAMB brochure).
METHOD
Interested applicants will be required to follow these guidelines:
- Pay the application fee of N5,000 via the e-tranzact through: FCE Obudu Micro Finance Bank
- Use confirmation order and receipt number of the e-tranzact generated by the bank to fill the application form on College website i.e; www.apply.fceobudu.edu.ng
- Complete Application Form online and print a copy.
- Attach photocopies of all credentials to the duly completed Application Form and submit to the Degree
- Programme Unit on or before the dates of the examinations.
Post UTME TEST shall hold in the College on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2015.
Direct Entry TEST shall hold on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2015.
Candidates should please bring to the examination venue photocopies of Attestation slip and JAMB result slip (for post UTME applicants) and JAMB/DE Application form slip (for DE applicants)
