Veritas University Convocation Ceremony Schedule of Events.
The fourth and fifth Convocation Ceremonies of Veritas University, Abuja will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 7 -8, 2017 as follows:
Tuesday, March 7, 2017: Convocation Lecture
Topic: “We the Creatures and The Lord of all Creation”
Convocation Lecturer: Mr. Donald Duke (Former Governor of Cross River State)
Venue: National Universities Commission Auditorium, Maitama District, Abuja
Time: 2.00PM
Wednesday, March 8, 2017: Convocation for the Award of First Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters Degrees
Venue: Veritas University, Abuja, Bwari Area Council, FCT
Time: 9.00Am (Convocation Eucharistic Celebration)
12.00: Convocation for the Award of First Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters Degrees.
NOTE
- All Graduating Students are expected to be physically present to be admitted to their degrees or receive their awards;
- All Graduating Students are to come to the University on Monday, March 6, 2017 for rehearsals of the ceremony
- All Graduating Students are to collect the following items from the Student Affairs Office on Monday, March 6, 2017:
– Hood
– Copy of Convocation Programme
– Copy of Student Year Book (compulsory for all graduating student) - Every Graduating student is permitted to invite 2 guests who would be seated in the Convocation arena.
- Collection of Academic Certificate at the Academic Affairs Office would be on Thursday and Friday, March 9 -10, 2017 from 8AM to 4PM.
- Graduating Students would be expected to sign the Graduation Registrar at the Academic Affairs Office.
NB: Please note that you will not be permitted to collect or return any of the items mentioned above on behalf of another Graduating Student.
