ESCET Gets New Provost.
The Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has appointed Prof. Mary Ngozi Nnamani as the new Provost of Enugu State College of Education Technical (ESCET).
Until her appointment, she was the Dean, Faculty of Education Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT).
She replaced Mr. Anthony Ani who had been in the saddle.
A professor of Health and Physical Education, (HPE) the new Provost apart from the Deanship appointment was a former Head of Department and Chairperson Matriculation and Orientation Committee of ESUT.
She has served in many other committees of the university including committee for Strategic Planning, Committee for Selection of Principal Officers for 2015, and Senate Committee on Sports amongst others.
Prof. Nnamani was former Financial Secretary and former Vice Chairperson of ASUU, ESUT, she is well published and is currently the Chief Editor of Nigerian Journal of Health and Kinesiology and former editor in Chief – ESUT Journal of Education 2011 – 2013 amongst numerous other services.
Speaking on her recent appointment, she assured the ESUT community that by the Grace of God, she would improve the lots of ESCET and do ESUT proud.
