The College of Education, Ilemona in Kwara State has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ekiti
The MOU makes it mandatory that the qualifications of staff to be involved in the teaching of the degree programme shall be in accordance with National Universities Commission Minimum Academic Standard (MAS) and that the college should have the necessary and adequate physical facilities as required for conducive learning
among others.
Speaking at the event, the EKSU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Aina, thanked the management of the College of Education, Ilemona for recognizing that the University was one of the best in Nigeria.
He stressed that Colleges of Education and several tertiary institutions have been making requests to partner with the University but EKSU would only partner with those that could key into its vision adding that the College of Education, Ilemona was found suitable.
Prof. Aina further said that the University would closely monitor the activities of the College of Education in running the Programmes agreed upon.
The Proprietor of the College, Dr. R. O. Oyewale who spoke on behalf of the management, expressed gratitude to EKSU management for considering his institution worthy of the partnership.
He assured that the college would be transparent in all its dealings with Ekiti State University.
