Yobe State Medical Students Placed On Salaries
The Yobe State Government in its quest to make health care accessible to all citizens of the state has approved the placement of 104 medical students on salary Grade Level 06 in the state’s civil service.
This move approved by the Yobe state governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam is part of ongoing efforts in the state to re-position the healthcare sector and improve service delivery.
A statement from the Yobe state governor’s office said that the salary commensurate with the grade level will be paid to the students on a monthly basis until they graduate as doctors.
The governor said that his administration would continue to take proactive steps to improve the welfare of the people of the state.
