The Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, have presented Letters of Promotion to 4,001 teaching and non teaching staff of Public Secondary Schools in the State.
The letters were presented in Akure, during an interactive session for Principals of Public secondary schools in the state, by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Aderotimi Adelola.
Adelola said at the event that the promotion is in fulfillment of the governors promises on assumption of office, which includes, prioritizing the welfare of all workers in the state, particularly payment of salaries and prompt issuance of letters of promotion to deserving staff.
He also assured that the ongoing recruitment exercise of another 1,500 teachers will be completed before the end of January next year.
