NPower Recruitment Registration for 2020 [Batch C] Now on Www.npower.gov.ng Portal.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has announced the commencement of enrollment for a new batch of N-Power beneficiaries effective June 26, 2020.
The commencement of the Batch C enrolment is sequel to far reaching consultations and a review of the submissions on the reform and realignment of the programme for greater efficiency. Batch C is also being enrolled to provide opportunities for more Nigerian youths to access the programme, in furtherance of the President’s vision of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by creating opportunities that will enhance the productivity of the Nigerian youths for entrepreneurship.
The N-Power Programme is an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria designed to drastically reduce youth unemployment. The focus is to provide young graduates with the skills, tools and livelihood to enable them advance from unemployment to employment, entrepreneurship and innovation.
The N-Power programme has enrolled 500,000 beneficiaries thus far – 200,000 from Batch A which started in September 2016 and 300,000 from Batch B which kicked off in August 2018. The beneficiaries were supposed to spend not less than 24 months on the programme and were spread across the key industries targeted by the program – Agriculture, Health, Education, and Tax.
The bacth C will see a total of 400,000 candidates inducted into the programme.
How To Apply for NPower Programme Recruitment.
The N-Power application portal was opened on June 25th 2020 to all eligible Nigerians. Applicants are to note that the application process is completely free and there is no application fee. Applicants are requested to read and understand all relevant information prior to applying. Applicants should note the following steps:
- Visit www.npower.gov.ng. Once you get on the application portal, you will be required to read the terms and conditions of the N-Power Programme and accept that all the information you will provide must be truthful and accurate;
- Choose your Program of choice;
- Fill in your 11-digit BVN; then fill in your surname, first name, and middle name in identical terms to your BVN information; followed by details of your active bank account; Address and Educational history.
- After filling the form, Click on Submit My Application.
Npower Closing Date:
N-power online application has been extended by 2 weeks. The Application portal will now close on Thursday, July 27th, 2017.
