The factional executives of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) led by Tijjani Usman has been expelled by the Joint Campus Committee chairmen of the association over allegation of fraud and impersonation.
A statement issued by the chairman and secretary, National Joint Campus Committee, Yakubu Yerima Abdullahi and Magnus Okosisi, said after an exhaustive deliberation on the state of NANS, it decided to expel all the members of the Tijjani Usman-led faction to save the students union from the clutches of fraudsters and imposters who had been parading themselves as students’ leaders.
The committee warned them to stop parading themselves as NANS Excos so as to avoid the wrath of Nigerian students whom they terribly betrayed on several occasions.
