FG Declare Public Holiday For Eid-el-Kabir.
The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, July 20 and Wednesday, July 21, 2021 as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
This was confirmed in a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mrs Georgina Ehuriah, on behalf of the Minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
The minister congratulated Muslim faithful and all Nigerians both at home and abroad on the occasion.
He called on the Muslims to continue to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, “as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him)”.
Aregbesola promised that the government of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, was fully committed to battling the scourge with the cooperation of all Nigerians.
