The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) has voiced their concern over subtle campaigns to transfer the 104 Federal Unity Colleges (FUCs) to the state governments.
The union advised the President, Muhammadu Buhari to reject such a policy as it will have a negative effect on the education sector.
In a press statement issued in Lagos yesterday, the ASCSN national president, Comrade Bobboi Bala Kaigama and the secretary-general, Comrade Alade Bashir Lawal, emphasised that those pushing the president to embark on such negative action want him to enter into a collision course with millions of Nigerians who voted him into office.
The statement urged the president to watch out for the lobbyists and disregard any proposal they bring forward.
