The Delta State University, Abraka was thrown into mourning over the weekend, following the death of a 300-level female student of the institution.
It was reported that the deceased, Miss. Edeki Lucky, who was in the Department of Language and Linguistics, slumped in her room at Ethiope Hall in Site Two of the university last week.
She was rushed to the university’s Health Centre by her roommates, where she was referred to the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara for further medical examination.
Miss. Edeki, who was allegedly diagnosed of partial stroke, died at the Teaching Hospital this weekend.
Some of her roommates who described her as a very jovial and kind person, said she was always complaining of severe headache before the slum incident.
May her soul rest in peace… Amen!
