DELSU Graduating Students Should Take Note of This Information.
The Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka wishes to inform all 2015/2016 graduands, (Regular, Sandwich, ISLT and Weekend/Part-Time), that the 11th Convocation Ceremony of the University has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 22nd July, 2017.
Graduands are please requested to note the following:
It is mandatory for all graduands to pay for the following items irrespective of attendance at the Convocation Ceremony;
a. Order of proceedings – N3,000
b. Certificate and Certificate Folder – N15,000
c. Book on DELSU @ 25 – N4,000

Mode of Payment: All payments are to be made to DELSU NET INCOME ACCOUNT NO. 1012233419 ZENITH BANK (AND NOT DELSU SKYE BANK RECURRENT ACCOUNT NO. 6000016978) (and receipt will be issued by the Bursary Department on presentation of Bank Teller (Not Print-out) after one day of payment to ensure that their names reflect on the manifest before issuance of receipts)
HIRING OF ACADEMIC OUTFITS (FIRST DEGREE AND DIPLOMA GRADUANDS ONLY)
Academic outfits are available for hire in the Faculty Offices. The cost of hiring academic outfits is indicated hereunder:
Diploma and First Degree Graduands are to pay the sum of Ten Thousand (N10,000.00) Naira only for the collection of academic gowns. The sum of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) will be refunded on return of the gown.
POST GRADUATE ACADEMIC OUTFITS
Higher Degrees Graduands are to purchase their Academic Gowns from Post Graduate School as indicated below:
Ph.D Gown = N30,000
Masters Gown = N25,000
Tuesday, 18th July – Thursday, 20th July, 2017: Collection of Academic gowns and Convocation Brochures and certificate folders by graduands.
Time: 9.00a.m. – 4.00p.m.
Venue: Faculty Offices in Abraka, Asaba and Oleh Campuses.
ALUMNI FEES:
Alumni fee of N2, 000 is to be paid by all Graduands through DELSU Alumni Account No. 0742001706 Ecobank. (Those who have collected their statement of results and have paid their Alumni dues need not pay again)
NOTE: Graduands wishing to collect Academic gowns are to deposit the original of their statements of results/ certificates (as applicable) in the Faculty Office. These would be returned to their rightful owners including the refundable deposits on return of the gowns in good condition not later than Thursday, July 29, 2017.
Every graduand is entitled to two invitation cards, which will be collected along with academic gowns, brochure and certificate holders in the Faculty Offices. Graduands and their guests are expected to take their seats on the convocation day not later than 9.00 am.
