During the inauguration of the centre, Gov. Al-Makura said that the role of ICT in the development of any society cannot be over-emphasised, adding that one cannot be successful in life without having the knowledge of computer.
He called on the lecturers and students to use the ICT centre to enrich themselves with modern knowledge in their interest and for the overall development of the country.
Pro-Chancellor/Chairman of university’s council, Prof. Gomna Dogara, thanked Al-Makura for the gesture and promised proper use and maintenance of the centre which has a capacity for 200 people.
