• Bells University of Technology invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following programmes for the 2015/2016 academic session:

    AVAILABLE POSTGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES

    A. MASTER OF SCIENCE (M.Sc):

    M.Sc Food Science and Technology

    M.Sc. Accounting
    M.Sc. Economics
    M.Sc. Finance
    M.Sc. Human Resource Management
    M.Sc. Management
    M.Sc. Transport Management
    Master of Business Administration (MBA)

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR M.Sc PROGRAMMES:

    i. Candidates must satisfy the O’ Level requirements for matriculation into first degree programmes of the University i.e. Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
    ii. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Second Class lower division in relevant fields.
    iii. Candidates with a Third class degree or HND plus University PGD in relevant subject may also be considered for admission (particularly for science related disciplines).
    iv. For M.Sc Architecture, Candidates with a Third Class Degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University with 2 years (24 months) logged internship with a NIA/ARCON Registered Architect may be considered for admission.
    v. For M.Sc Transport Management, Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences, Transport Management, Aviation Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Geography and Engineering related disciplines.

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MBA PROGRAMME:

    In addition to i. and ii. above,
    i. Graduates of Bells University of Technology, Ota or any other recognized University with Third class degree and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Management related discipline OR
    ii. Holders of HND plus Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Management, Finance and Administration disciplines (of Bells University of Technology or of other recognized Universities) are eligible for admission or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Management related disciplines with relevant professional qualifications like ACA, ACIS, ACCA, NIM, e.t.c.
    iii. All applicants must have a minimum of one year work experience, preferably in a managerial or administrative capacity.
    iv. Satisfactory performance at Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) administered by the Bells University of Technology, Ota is mandatory for all applicants.

    B. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)

    PGD Microbiology
    PGD Applied Physics
    PGD Mathematics
    PGD Statistics
    PGD Computer Science
    PGD Food Science and Technology
    PGD Biotechnology

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PGD PROGRAMMES:

    i. Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
    ii. Candidates with a Bachelor degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Third Class degree in relevant discipline.
    iii. Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit (for disciplines in pure sciences) and a minimum of Lower Credit (for other disciplines) may also be considered for admission.
    Postgraduate Diploma Candidates may be required to satisfy the requirement of relevant Department in a selection process. In addition, candidates will be required to satisfy other requirements of the Postgraduate School.

    DURATION OF PROGRAMMES

    Generally, M.Sc programmes will run for a minimum period of three (3) semesters; whilst Architecture and MBA programmes will run for a minimum period of four (4) semesters. Postgraduate Diploma programmes will run for a minimum period of two (2) semesters, except PGD Computer Science which is a minimum of three (3) semesters.

    METHOD OF APPLICATION

    Interested Candidates are to pay the Application Fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15, 000.00) at any of the under listed Banks:

    No payment must be made to individual account or any account not listed above. Evidence of payment should be submitted with filled application form. Application Forms are available at the Postgraduate School, Bells University of Technology, Ota.

    Thereafter, you are expected to visit the PG Application Portal via http://www.bellsuniversity.edu.ng/BellsPostgraduateRegistrationPortal to fill our ONLINE PG REGISTRATION AND APPLICATION FORMS.

    Applicants from outside Nigeria should pay $100.00 to the University Domiciliary account (details to be provided on request from [email protected]). Completed application forms should be submitted to the Postgraduate School, Bells University of Technology, Ota.

    Submitted application form must also be forwarded with credentials to ‘The Secretary, Postgraduate School, Bells University of Technology, Ota’ or scan to [email protected]

    Transcripts of academic records should be forwarded to ‘The Secretary Postgraduate School, Bells University of Technology, Benja Village, P.M.B. 1015, Ota, Ogun State’. Where necessary, candidates will be invited for Oral / Written Interview.

    CLOSING DATE:

    Submission of completed Application Forms, closes on Friday, 28th August, 2015. Resumption of successful candidates commences from Monday, 21st September, 2015.
