A total of 341 students would be awarded first degrees at the 10th anniversary/7th convocation ceremony of the Bells
Speaking at a press conference, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Isaac Adeyemi, disclosed that 21 of the graduating students bagged First Class degrees.
He added that 135 and 134 graduating students would be awarded second class upper and second lower honors classes of degrees, respectively while 51 others would be awarded Third Class degrees.
The vice chancellor further disclosed that during this year’s convocation, the pioneer set of postgraduate students of the university would graduate.
Adeyemi stated that the university would also install a new chancellor, Alhaji Ahmed Joda, “a man of immense administrative experience and repute who will direct the convocation ceremonies of this university for another five years.”
He also said that the programmes in the university have the accreditation from both the National Universities Commission and professional accreditation at various times.
