The
The need for the creation of the DLC was predicated on the imperative of expanding the frontiers of the university through provision of formal education to numerous people who desire academic advancement but are inhibited because of constraint of time.
In the same vein, the creation of Centre for Part-time Studies has been premised on the importance of broadening the horizon of the university by means of running sandwich and conversion programmes.
Consequently, while Dr. O. F. Alabi, of the Department of Communication and Media Studies, has been appointed as the Acting Director of the DLC, Dr. Omosolape Owoseni of the Department of Business Administration has been appointed as the Acting Director of the Centre for Part-time Studies.
The Centres have taken-off immediately.
