Yabatech Suspends Academic Activities Following Death of Student.
The Academic Board of the Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH, wishes to inform the college community that academic activities has been suspended for four weeks to allow Management, staff and students mourn the death of Miss Charity Dazan, a student of the institution.
It will be recalled that the student died after some medical complications at the College Medical Center which sparked student’s protest.
The Board has ruled that students should vacate halls of residence latest 12 noon, Thursday February 11, 2016.
Meanwhile, the Rector, Management and Staff of Yabatech sympathize with the family of the deceased and with the student body over the unfortunate incident praying God to prevent a recurrence
Management will attend to other issues and requests by students in due course.
