• The management of Yaba College of Technology, has revealed that the institution got four mass transit buses through the 2014 Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) intervention project.

According to the Head of Public Relations Unit of the institution, Mr Charles Oni, the buses were provided to ease transportation challenges confronting some staff members of the college.

“In the past, we had three mass transit buses, but they all packed up due to old age and since then, transportation had been a major challenge for our staff.

“The 2014 TETFund intervention fund tender was advertised and officials from Abuja were on ground to supervise the breaking of the tender.

“The contract was awarded and the company delivered the TATA mass transit buses in December,” he said.

Oni said the buses had been allocated to ply dedicated routes to transport members who reside in Sango, Ikorodu, Mowe and Oshodi. (NAN)
