Prof. Elujoba Appointed Acting Vice-Chancellor OAU.
Following the directive given by the President, Muhammadu Buhari, the Senate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has recommended Prof. Anthony Adebolu Elujoba for appointment as the acting Vice Chancellor.
In a press statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju, it stated that after an extensive deliberation by the Senate, Elujoba was elected by majority of the members.
Elujoba is a professor of Pharmacognosis at OAU, a Royal Society of UK Research Fellow and a Public Analyst (FDA).
He has served as acting head of Department of Pharmacognosis; Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy; Chairman, Committee of Deans; Chairman, Faculty PG Committee/ board of studies, Research and selection committee, member Faculty review panel, Senate Rep on OAU Teaching Hospital Management board, Member Management board of natural history museum and PG board and Dean’s rep Faculty of Technology.
