• JAMB Needs More CBT Centres – Registrar

    The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has called on Nigerians to establish enough Computer Based Test (CBT) centres in order to accommodate all candidates participating in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

    The JAMB Registrar, Prof. ‘Dibu Ojerinde, made the call at the 2nd Technical Committee Meeting on 2014/2015 Admissions to Degree, Nigeria Certificate in Education and National Diploma and Awarding Institutions held in Minna.

    Ojerinde explained that the agency’s examinations would consist only of Computer Based Test in the 2015/2016 UTME and urged Nigerians to build and operate computer centres in all areas for the candidates.

    The Board also announced that the registration period for the 2015 UTME will last between Monday September 15, 2014 and Thursday January 15, 2015, while the website closes Monday January 19, 2015.
