• Tragedy occurred at Osogbo in Osun State last Tuesday as two students writing the ongoing West African School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in a public secondary school drowned in a river, called River Osun.

    The bodies of the two students, which were discovered by a farmer that owns a farm near the river, were identified as Farinde Boluwatife and Adeyemi Tope.

    Some of the students at the school revealed that the deceased went to swim at River Osun located few metres from the school after their exams on Monday.

    They informed the school authorities and a search immediately commenced. The bodies were later discovered by the farmer on Tuesday evening.

    May their soul rest in peace.
